Preparations for the Serbian Orthodox celebration of St. Jovan (St. John the Baptist) Slava at home of Likki Kapor, Belgrade, Serbia. Under an icon or painting of the family's patron saint are set the kolac, or slava bread representing the bread of Christ, wine representing his blood, a candle representing his light and zito, a sweet made of boiled wheat, which represents life and earth. These things are blessed by a priest before the celebration.
